If you’re reading this, you have made the excellent decision to consider cheerleading at Imperial!
Seen Cheer or Dallus Cowboys Cheerleaders on Netflix? Used to do gymnastics? Have never done anything associated with cheer but want to try something new? Cheerleading is the society for you!Cheerleading is an engaging team-sport which combines stunts, jumps, tumbles, dance and pyramids.
At competitions, cheerleading teams will perform a routine combining all of these skills. The ultimate goal of cheerleading is to have as much fun as possible, you’ll meet loads of like-minded people and people become lifelong friends! It’s also a great way to keep your fitness up, whilst having fun learning lots of new skills! We know that cheerleading is subject to some stereotypes; such as “cliquey” and “not a real sport”.
