Have you ever wondered about the socio-political causes and impacts of current economic issues? Do you find yourself wishing you kept up-to-date and understood more about how these impact your life and future? The Economics Society is an initiative aiming to be informative, educational and interactive for our members. We will be organising external speakers events such as open debates, invited talks and mini-conferences on current economic issues, but also thematic group meetings focusing on the interests of our members, including reading groups, attending open events in London and social gatherings. Membership is JUST 2 pounds and we would love to hear about your ideas at economics@imperial.ac.uk or through our website union.ic.ac.uk/scc/economics.
