Our society aims to promote awareness of women’s issues and gender, and to provide an inclusive and open-minded environment to share experiences and listen to each other. All of us have different experiences and stories and we exist to help each other interpret these stories from the perspective of gender, whatever that may mean. We strive to have a variety of events, including discussion groups, theatre, cinema and museum trips in London, craft sessions (e.g. making our own riot grrrl zines) and other socials. Our discussions encompass a wide variety of topics, including feminism in art, the role of women as mothers, women through history, and many others. We have also run campaigns in the past, including a SEXism survey related to on-campus gender inequality.
