Femtech is a rapidly booming industry that focuses on the research and development of products, technology & services to improve women’s health. Throughout history, women have always been excluded from medical trials and long-term studies due to factors such as menstruation and pregnancy. This has led to a huge gender health gap, which still persists today, whereby women are often misdiagnosed and mistreated due to the lack of understanding of the difference in symptoms between men and women. However, this is all changing.
