Jiu Jitsu is a Japanese martial art which uses balance and movement rather than strength to defend against physical assault, so anyone can learn it! Central techniques are throws and joint locks; our training also incorporates strikes, groundwork, and weapon attacks.
TRAINING INFO 2024-25:
Tuesdays 8-10pm, Union Gym (Union building, 3rd Floor Beit).
Saturdays 2-4pm, Union Gym.
All sessions are beginner-friendly!
3 FREE TASTER SESSIONS:
3 free tasters on 11th, 18th, and 25th October (all Saturdays). If you are unsure, give it a go! We welcome all levels from complete beginners to black belts to join us!
SOCIALS:
Hang around at the Union Bar after training to get to know the instructors and other club members (subsidised refreshments included).
