Materials
Free for the 2026-27 year.
Materials society (aka matsoc) aims to build and maintain the sense of community within the materials department. We host a variety of social events, like the Christmas curry, New Year’s dinner and bowling.
We also organise educational services, like our lunchtime lecture series, where we invite various speakers to talk about their companies, career opportunities and/or research. This year, we are aiming to have an industry trip too.
Anyone with an interest can join matsoc, our committee is extremely dedicated to our members’ happiness!
