A close-knit family more than a “society”, the IC Sri Lankan Society was founded over 30 years ago. We are one of the oldest, most successful of all societies, managing the 2nd largest budget at Imperial College Union. Our goal is to bring the vibrancy, diversity & warmth of Sri Lankan culture to Imperial, and to the UK.
Our flagship event “Sapphire” (instagram.com/sapphire.ic/) is the largest Lankan event in the UK! A dinner dance that attracts over 1000 guests from across the country to enjoy authentic Sri Lankan food, the hottest Sri Lankan entertainment, & the company of all your friends across the country.
