The Yacht Club has an excellent reputation for offering quality sailing to its members - and we cater for everyone: whether you've never sailed before and would like to spend the weekend relaxing in a peaceful anchorage or are a seasoned racer wanting to join our racing team to compete in national and international events against other clubs and universities. Most of the sailing we do is on weekends on the beautiful South Coast of the UK, but we have also done long weekends and week long cruises to the Isles of Scilly, the Channel Islands and the Cornish coast. For those who are more interested in racing, we take part in the British universities yachting nationals (BUSA), where we spend four days racing against crews from other universities, and socialising with them in the evenings - its a great chance to meet students from across the UK.
